Pakistan Junior Hockey Team Defeats Oman 7-0 to Reach Final of Junior Asia Cup
Islamabad:Pakistan’s junior hockey team delivered a dominant performance in the semi-final of the Junior Hockey Asia Cup, defeating Oman 7-0. The match was played in Muscat, the capital of Oman, where the national team showcased exceptional skills and team coordination.
Pakistan took control of the match from the very beginning, with captain Hanan Shahid scoring in the first minute. By the end of the first quarter, the team had built a 2-0 lead. The dominance continued, and by the final quarter, Pakistan had a five-goal advantage, eventually scoring two more goals to secure a commanding 7-0 victory.
The goals were scored by Rana Waleed (2 goals), while Captain Hanan Shahid, Nadeem Khan, Qayyum Dogar, Sufyan Khan, and Basharat each contributed one goal.
With this victory, Pakistan has secured a spot in the final of the Junior Hockey Asia Cup and will play their final pool match tomorrow against Malaysia.
