Pakistan Embassy in Saudi Arabia Celebrates Pakistan Day with Colorful Event

The Embassy of Pakistan in Saudi Arabia hosted a vibrant ceremony to mark Pakistan Day, with the participation of high-ranking Saudi officials, including General (Retd) Raheel Sharif, Commander of the Islamic Military Alliance, as well as ambassadors from various countries and a large number of members of the Pakistani community.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Farooq, warmly welcomed foreign ambassadors and military attachés to the event. Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Undersecretary of the Riyadh Region Governorate, attended as the chief guest, while General (Retd) Raheel Sharif, Commander of the Islamic Military Alliance, was also present as a special guest.

In his address, Ambassador Ahmad Farooq emphasized that Pakistan is a great nation, the dream of which was realized on March 23, 1940. Under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistan was founded within just seven years, thanks to the sacrifices of Muslims. He paid tribute to the founding fathers and stated that today, Pakistan is playing a significant role on the world stage, making strides in development, with its people actively contributing to the country’s progress.

Ambassador Farooq also highlighted the strong historical ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, which continue to grow over time. He mentioned that both countries are enhancing bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in various fields. The leadership of both nations stands together, and millions of Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia are playing their part in the kingdom’s development.

The colorful Pakistan Day celebration was made even more memorable with live performances on stage. The musical band entertained the attendees, adding to the festive atmosphere. Both the Pakistani community and foreign guests praised the event, with many acknowledging Pakistan’s vital role in promoting peace and security while advancing towards a prosperous future.
