Pakistan Day Parade to Be Held on a Smaller Scale Due to Ramadan

Islamabad:A decision has been made to hold the Pakistan Day Parade on a limited scale with traditional enthusiasm, taking into account the ongoing Ramadan month.
According to sources, the parade will continue with full participation from the three armed forces’ contingents, but on a smaller scale compared to previous years. The event will take place in the premises of the President’s House, with President Asif Ali Zardari as the guest of honor.
During the parade, the armed forces’ contingents will present a salute to the guest of honor, while fighter jets from the Pakistan Air Force will perform a flypast over the President’s House.
The parade will also feature the renowned Pakistan Army’s Pipe and Drum Band showcasing their skills. Foreign diplomats and other distinguished personalities have been invited to attend the ceremony.
