Pakistan-China Trade Conference: A Glorious Start to New Partnerships

Islamabad: The SFIC (Specialized Federation of International Cooperation) is actively working towards promoting the country’s economic development and fostering global partnerships. In this regard, the Pakistan-China Trade Conference has been hailed as a significant step in initiating new collaborations.
China and Pakistan are strengthening their cooperation in technology transfer, trade, and investment. Over 40 Chinese business representatives and more than 100 Pakistani entrepreneurs attended the conference, where the focus was on enhancing bilateral business relations.
At the conference, business representatives from Shandong (China) introduced products from the manufacturing and high-tech industries, while Pakistani business leaders showed keen interest in Shandong’s products and technologies. Initial discussions were held on several joint projects, with both sides expressing strong intent to collaborate.
The participants emphasized the importance of exchanging information and sharing resources to expand cooperation in the Pakistani market. Furthermore, Shandong business representatives also participated in the 8th Pakistan Industrial Expo, highlighting the growing commercial interest between the two nations.
Experts have also identified Pakistan’s coastal areas as ideal for offshore wind energy and renewable energy projects, urging China to invest in these sectors. SFIC is playing a key role in promoting investment and trade in vital sectors, including energy, and continues to drive collaboration between Pakistan and China.
