Islamabad: The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics has unveiled startling figures from its latest census, indicating that 29.75% of the population in the country are unmarried. According to the report, 65.97% of the population is married, 3.78% are widowed, 0.35% are divorced, and 0.15% have opted for separation.
The report further details that 79% of the population is under the age of 40, with 40.56% comprising individuals under the age of 15. The population aged between 15 and 29 years constitutes 26%, highlighting a predominantly youthful demographic profile.
