Opposition Leader Mir Younus Aziz Zehri Reviews Progress on Khairwah Feeder and Electric Supply to Khuzdar Hospital

KHUZDAR:The work on the Khairwah feeder funded by the opposition leader of Balochistan Assembly, Mir Younus Aziz Zehri, is progressing rapidly. Mir Younus Aziz Zehri, accompanied by his delegation, inspected the ongoing work on the Khairwah feeder and held an important meeting with WAPDA’s Executive Engineer, Saifullah Jamoot, at his office. During the meeting, they discussed the timely completion of the Khairwah feeder project and the full electrification of Khuzdar’s Civil Hospital.

Mir Younus Aziz Zehri mentioned that he had already held significant meetings in Quetta regarding the provision of 24-hour electricity to Khuzdar Civil Hospital, where practical steps were taken for the hospital’s power supply. He also emphasized that the funds for the Khairwah feeder have been completed, and the work is progressing well. Efforts are being made to activate the feeder soon. In response, WAPDA’s Executive Engineer assured Mir Younus Aziz Zehri that he would personally inspect the work on the feeder in Khairwah and ensure that the connections are fully restored. He committed to restoring the electricity in Khairwah before the holy month of Ramadan.

Mir Younus Aziz Zehri further instructed that the electricity connections for the hospital be segregated to ensure uninterrupted power supply for the patients. He mentioned that a meeting would also be held with the Medical Superintendent of the hospital to ensure that the hospital’s power line is fully separate and that all necessary facilities are in place.

The opposition leader also expressed that the purpose of expanding Khuzdar’s feeders is to provide the public with reliable electricity, and he is working tirelessly toward this goal. He assured that the long-standing demand of the Khairwah residents to have their separate feeder line has now been fulfilled, with work on the lines and poles underway.

Mir Younus Aziz Zehri directed that the work on the feeder be completed within a month so that the people of Khairwah have access to electricity before Eid.

The meeting was attended by Rais Tanveer Kurd, Saifullah Sajdi, and Tariq Mardooi.
