Karachi:In Karachi’s North Nazimabad area, a man was killed during a robbery that turned violent. According to the police, the incident occurred near the KDA Bridge, where 40-year-old Anis was shot and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Haleem Adil Sheikh has claimed that the deceased, Anis, was a PTI worker. He also stated that another individual, Hamza, was injured in the same incident. Sheikh criticized the Sindh government, alleging that it is responsible for the “genocide of Karachi’s youth” and accusing the police of focusing on arresting PTI activists. He also highlighted issues with the healthcare system, noting that the injured were initially taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, which lacked adequate facilities, forcing them to be transferred to a private hospital.
