No Truth to Reports of PIA Plane Accident at Panjgur Airport

Panjgur:Recent news circulating on social media claiming that a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane crashed on the runway and burst its tires during landing at Panjgur Airport has been refuted by authorities. According to official sources, the story is completely false, as the PIA service has been suspended at Panjgur Airport for the past 8 years.

Panjgur Airport has been without operational PIA flights for nearly a decade, with no scheduled air service currently running. The rumors about a PIA aircraft skidding off the runway and experiencing a tire burst during landing are unfounded, as no such incident took place.

Officials clarified that the PIA had stopped its air service to Panjgur eight years ago, and the airport has remained closed for commercial flights since then. There is no ongoing air traffic at the airport, and the claims circulating on social media have no factual basis.

This clarification comes in response to the widespread circulation of false information, which had raised concerns among the local population. The authorities have urged the public to disregard these rumors and rely on official statements for accurate information.
