New Gwadar International Airport Nears Completion, Set to Become Operational by End of the Month

Gwadar:According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), Acting Director General of PAA, Zeeshan Saeed, along with Deputy Director General Airports, Sadiq Ur Rehman, visited the New Gwadar International Airport. During the visit, the Project Director, Faiz Ullah Khattak, provided a detailed briefing on the airport’s progress.

Khattak informed the delegation that the operationalization of the New Gwadar International Airport is in its final stages and is set to become operational by the end of this month. The PAA also shared that the project team briefed airport stakeholders about the business opportunities and economic zones associated with the airport’s operations.

The Acting DG expressed satisfaction with the airport’s operational readiness and commended the progress made so far. The completion of this major infrastructure project is expected to significantly enhance connectivity and economic development in the region.
