NEPRA Reduces Electricity Price by Rs. 1.22 per Unit Under December Fuel Price Adjustment

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has announced a reduction in electricity prices by Rs. 1.22 per unit under the December fuel price adjustment. A notification has been issued in this regard, stating that the price reduction will be reflected in February’s electricity bills.
However, NEPRA clarified that this reduction will not apply to lifeline consumers. Additionally, NEPRA confirmed that the relief will also be extended to consumers of K-Electric in their February bills. Under the November fuel price adjustment, K-Electric consumers will see a price decrease of Rs. 1.23 per unit.
The December fuel price adjustment applies to consumers of all Distribution Companies (DISCOs) except for K-Electric.
