Lahore: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, arrived without protocol late at night to meet with President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif. During their detailed discussion, Nawaz Sharif directed expedited negotiations on foreign investment and relations with friendly nations.
Both leaders exchanged views on the national political situation. Ishaq Dar briefed Nawaz Sharif on governmental matters and informed the party president about public relief measures undertaken by the government.
Nawaz Sharif emphasized prioritizing public interests at all costs, stating that peace and stability are essential for progress and prosperity.
The President of PML-N highlighted the sacrifices of security forces for the nation’s security. Nawaz Sharif reiterated that with national resolve, the scourge of terrorism can be eradicated.
“We must move forward without wasting time for the sake of national stability,” Nawaz Sharif asserted.
