Nawabzada Mir Jamal Khan Raisani Unveils 5-Year Development Plan for Sariab
Quetta:Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) central leader and Member of National Assembly, Nawabzada Mir Jamal Khan Raisani, has emphasized that the true source of power lies with the people. He pledged to uplift Sariab from the past neglect and place it on the path of development with the support of the local community. He highlighted that previous representatives, despite having authority, had failed to take any meaningful steps for the welfare of the people, the region’s progress, or its betterment.
In a meeting with various delegations from his constituency, NA-264, at the Sarawan House in Quetta, including Chairman Babul Shahwani, Abrar Ahmed Zehri, Mama Ali Raisani, Khalid Mohammad Hasni, Noor Hassan Raisani, and others, Nawabzada Mir Jamal Khan Raisani discussed his vision for the constituency’s future. The delegations briefed him on the ongoing development issues and the quality of works being carried out in the area.
Speaking to the delegates, Raisani shared his plans for a 5-year development roadmap for the constituency, emphasizing that this plan would prioritize the collective good over personal or group interests. He stated, “The people are the true source of power, and it is our mission to provide them with relief. In the past, despite having power, the representatives of the area kept Sariab deprived. Instead of focusing on public welfare, they prioritized personal objectives, deliberately keeping development projects on paper and depriving the people of essential services.”
He added that the PPP, along with its coalition partners, was committed to taking practical steps to improve the situation. His 5-year development plan will focus on improving education, healthcare, and infrastructure, and aims to set a new precedent in governance. He stressed that over the next five years, the people would see a clear distinction between public service and personal-interest-driven politics.
“Sariab, which is the jewel of Quetta, and a reflection of government performance, has long suffered due to neglect. The people of this area have placed their trust in the PPP, and this trust will be honored through tangible actions aimed at their betterment,” Raisani concluded.
The meeting concluded on a hopeful note, with local leaders and residents expressing confidence in the PPP’s commitment to the region’s progress.
