National Party’s Former Senator Tahir Bizenjo Reflects on the Legacy of Mir Ghaus Bakhsh Bizenjo
Quetta:Former National Party Senator Tahir Bizenjo has paid tribute to Mir Ghaus Bakhsh Bizenjo, who passed away on August 11, 1989. In a video message shared on social media platform X, Bizenjo highlighted that, like many prominent political leaders of the 20th century, Mir Ghaus Bakhsh Bizenjo remained connected to nationalism, liberalism, and the philosophy of socialism.
Bizenjo noted that Mir Ghaus Bakhsh Bizenjo began his political career in 1939 through the National Party platform in Qalat. His dedication to his homeland and people persisted until his last breath. Bizenjo emphasized that regardless of whether one admires or disagrees with his political approach, it is crucial to remember that death is always a reality of the present, not the past.
He urged that the past remains a guiding shadow for any nation, and it is essential to draw lessons from the political life, thought, and experiences of figures like Mir Ghaus Bakhsh Bizenjo. Bizenjo stressed the importance of familiarizing the younger generation with past prominent leaders and thoroughly examining their struggles against oppression, injustice, and state tyranny.
