National Party Leader Condemns Attempted Attack on Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, Urges Full Investigation

QuettaضProvincial Women’s Secretary and Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) of the National Party, Kulsoom Niaz Baloch, has expressed deep concern over reports that a 5-kilogram explosive device was found at a farmhouse belonging to the party leader, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, in the Apsar area. She described the incident as highly alarming and detrimental to the political stability of the province.

Kulsoom Niaz Baloch emphasized that Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch has always worked for the peace, development, and promotion of democratic values in Balochistan. She condemned the attempt on his life, stating that such actions pose a serious threat to the political stability of the region. She reaffirmed that Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch is a red line for the National Party, and no such acts of violence would deter the party from its principles.

“Those involved in such fratricidal attacks are neither well-wishers of Balochistan nor the Baloch people,” Kulsoom Niaz Baloch stated. “The National Party will not be intimidated by such actions, and we demand a thorough and transparent investigation into this incident. The culprits must be brought to justice, and the security of Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch and all political leaders must be ensured.”

She also appealed to all political parties and the people of Balochistan to show unity and solidarity, while strongly condemning all forms of violence. “Only through unity can we ensure the realization of lasting peace and development in Balochistan,” she said, urging all stakeholders to stand firm against forces that seek to destabilize the province.

The National Party remains committed to upholding peace and democratic values, and calls for immediate action to ensure the safety and security of political leaders and the people of Balochistan.
