Nadeem Rehman Baloch Criticizes Political Manipulation and Use of Women as Shields in Protests

Quetta:Nadeem Rehman Baloch, a central leader of the Jhalawan Awami Panel, has strongly criticized the ongoing attempts to use tribal leaders and women as shields to salvage the deteriorating political reputation of certain individuals. Speaking at a press conference in Quetta Press Club on Thursday, Baloch stated that his group would continue to expose such elements to the public.

Baloch condemned the use of women as shields in political protests, emphasizing that women in Balochistan are respected and should never be exploited for political gain. “Whenever attempts were made to disrespect women, such acts were always condemned. Women in Balochistan are honored, and it is unacceptable to use them as political tools,” he remarked.

He also pointed out that certain political groups, after organizing a long march from Wadh to Kalat and Mastung, were now attempting to salvage their diminishing political standing by manipulating women in their protests. “We cannot accept the political exploitation of women,” Baloch asserted.

He further claimed that some political parties were using the long march and protests to malign their political opponents. Baloch stressed that any attempt to defame leaders, particularly the legacy of Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti, who had historically commented on the leaders of the protests, would not be tolerated.

Baloch accused certain elements of being involved with banned organizations and claimed they were being backed to destabilize the region. He emphasized that efforts to undermine the peace of Balochistan would be vehemently opposed, and his group would continue to expose these actions.
