Khuzdar:During a recent session in Khuzdar, Deputy Mayor Mir Jamil Qadir Zahri of the Municipal Corporation spoke to media representatives regarding the ongoing operation against illegal encroachments aimed at restoring traffic flow in the city.
The operation, targeting various areas such as Allah Wala Chowk, Jinnah Road, Karachi Road, Mashkey Road, and Gulamani Chowk, has successfully removed numerous encroachments and imposed fines on multiple traders. Deputy Mayor Zahri emphasized that the operation is being carried out swiftly through teams dedicated to combating encroachments, with the goal of maintaining smooth traffic flow and resolving issues caused by illegal encroachments.
Furthermore, he outlined that actions against encroachments will continue on a daily basis to ensure the sustained success of the operation. He stressed that the efforts are aimed at removing obstructions like cabins, stalls, stones, and goods placed outside shops, all of which contribute to unlawful encroachments. Deputy Mayor Zahri assured that the municipal corporation, under the leadership of Mayor Mir Asif Jamaldeen, remains committed to this cause and has decided in a recent meeting to collaborate closely with relevant authorities for effective measures against encroachments.
The session concluded with decisions to combat unauthorized encroachments effectively, aiming to eliminate hurdles in traffic and uphold law and order in Khuzdar. The municipal corporation’s proactive stance reflects its long-standing commitment to fulfilling the community’s aspirations for a clean and orderly city.
