Gwadar:In an effort to enhance operational capabilities at the New Gwadar International Airport (NGIA), 20 Pakistani workers have commenced multidisciplinary training courses in China. This program aims to equip them with technical and managerial skills essential for effectively managing NGIA operations.
The training initiative, facilitated by China Airport Construction Group, will leverage the expertise and experiences of Chinese professionals to bolster the capabilities of Pakistani workers involved in NGIA operations.
According to an official from Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, the government did not incur any expenses for this training initiative, as all costs have been covered by China Aid.
Courses in the training program cover various streams including operations, engineering, security, and management, with a significant number of personnel from Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority participating in these courses.
The primary objective of this training program at New Gwadar International Airport is to ensure that NGIA operations are conducted in accordance with international standards, thereby enhancing the airport’s operational efficiency and management capabilities.
