MPA Farah Azim Shah Distributes Winter Clothes to the Needy in Quetta Amid Cold Wave

Quetta:Provincial Assembly member Farah Azim Shah emphasized that helping the underprivileged and deserving people in society, as per the vision of the Chief Minister, is our duty. She made these remarks while distributing warm clothes, shawls, jackets, and blankets to the poor and deserving families from the Sariab area of Quetta, who have been severely affected by the ongoing cold wave and icy winds.

Farah Azim Shah stated that the harsh weather conditions in Quetta have slowed down daily life, with the working class particularly suffering due to the lack of proper winter clothing. She pointed out that this has resulted in significant health problems, especially among children, the elderly, and women, who are the most vulnerable to the cold.

While distributing the winter supplies, MPA Farah Azim Shah said, “Helping the poor and marginalized families by distributing warm clothes during the winter season is not only an act of charity but also a humanitarian duty. It brings peace to the heart and earns the pleasure of Allah.” She further mentioned that the severe cold has worsened the situation, with the elderly and children suffering most.

The beneficiaries of the distribution expressed their gratitude to MPA Farah Azim Shah for her timely assistance and requested that the scope of this initiative be expanded to help even more needy people in the future.

Farah Azim Shah reassured them that the assistance program for the poor and vulnerable would continue, in line with the vision of Chief Minister Mir Sardar Usman Buzdar, who has prioritized helping the underprivileged people of Balochistan. She concluded by stating, “Caring for the poor, the needy, orphans, and the destitute is an act of respecting humanity. In these harsh winters, many are waiting for help to cover themselves. This initiative is a step towards ensuring that no one is left without the warmth they need.”
