MP Sher Afzal Marwat Claims Obstacles in Meeting Imran Khan Due to Disruptive Individuals

Islamabad:Member of National Assembly, Sher Afzal Marwat, has stated that several individuals who are spreading discord are hindering his attempts to meet the founder and chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan.
While speaking to the media at the Judicial Complex in Islamabad, Sher Afzal Marwat remarked that the entire leadership of PTI is named in various cases. “One day, a PTI leader is in court, and another day, a different leader is in court,” he added.
Regarding the events of November 26, Marwat emphasized that not only were vehicles seized from them, but cases were also filed against them. He questioned, “Why should the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, apologize for the events of November 26?”
In response to a question, Marwat stated that if the government had been more vigilant, peace could have been restored in Balochistan.
When asked about joining any political party, Marwat clarified that he has no formal contact with any party. “If someone approaches me, I greet them politely.”
On his meeting with Imran Khan, Marwat said he would visit the PTI founder whenever invited. He further mentioned that many disruptive individuals are preventing the meeting from taking place.
