Islamabad:In a significant development, Mohsin Khan, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has been appointed as the President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) for the upcoming two-year term. This decision was finalized during the recent ACC meeting, where discussions also included the tenure extension of Jay Shah, Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Jay Shah, who received a one-year extension earlier this year, will step down from his role at the ACC upon the completion of his term. The announcement regarding the formal presidency changeover is expected at the ACC’s upcoming meeting scheduled for October or November. This move underscores Pakistan’s prominent role in regional cricket administration under Mohsin Khan’s leadership.
