Quetta:Mohammad Ismail Zahri, a resident of Zehri in the Zaidi sub-division of Khuzdar district, addressed a press conference with his wife, accusing influential figure Abdul Razzaq Miraji’s sons of subjecting him to unjust treatment. Zahri claimed that within the jurisdiction of Levies Force and under the supervision of the Police SHO, an attack was launched on them, resulting in injuries to a child and damage to their clothes.
According to Zahri, Abdul Razzaq Miraji’s two sons were promised his son’s hand in marriage in exchange for his two daughters’ marriage to Miraji’s sons. However, after breaching this promise, Miraji’s sons were ordered by Abdul Razzaq to pay a penalty of 1 million rupees. Zahri alleged that they have neither paid the amount nor fulfilled their promise to marry his son off. Instead, they have orchestrated an attack to force his daughter’s engagement elsewhere. Zahri claimed that his daughters, who reside in Miraji’s home, are being treated like prisoners and are not allowed to visit their family.
Expressing distress, Zahri stated that they survive by laboring in Zaidi, as their only son is compelled to work as a laborer outside the city. He appealed to the higher authorities and tribal leaders for justice.
