Mobile Phone and Internet Services Suspended in Quetta for Two Days Amid Security Concerns

Quetta:In a bid to maintain law and order, mobile phone and internet services have been suspended in Quetta for two days. According to sources from the Balochistan Home Department, the services, which were cut off on Sunday night, will be restored at 12 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7th.

The decision comes as Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) has called for a shutter-down strike across Balochistan today. JUI Balochistan’s leader, Maulana Abdul Wasay, emphasized that protests would continue until their demands are met.

The suspension of services is aimed at preventing any disturbances and maintaining peace in the region during this period of unrest.
