Missing Student Zubair Baloch Found; Protests Erupt Over His Disappearance

Hub:Zubair Baloch, a missing student, has been recovered, ending days of uncertainty and unrest. The student was previously reported missing after being taken from his home in Hub Chowki two days ago, sparking widespread protests.

In response to Zubair Baloch’s ongoing disappearance, locals in Hub had blocked the main highway for the second consecutive day, demanding his safe return. In an effort to disperse the protesters, authorities resorted to tear gas shelling. Despite the crackdown, protests continued, with demonstrators expressing anger over the lack of progress in the search for Zubair.

Zubair Baloch’s family, along with political activists, had been staging a sit-in since the previous night on the main highways connecting Quetta, Karachi, and the Makran region. The protests escalated, and a large number of activists and supporters gathered to demand answers regarding his whereabouts.

Additionally, in Turbat, protests continued on the CPEC route for two days, with the road being blocked at the Kerki area, causing a disruption in land communication between Turbat and Quetta. The closure of this vital route has heightened tensions in the region, as it led to a breakdown in transportation links.

Zubair Baloch is a known journalist and writer, and his sudden disappearance has raised concerns within the media community and among human rights activists. His recovery has brought some relief, but the incidents surrounding his disappearance continue to fuel protests and calls for justice.
