London:Mir Suleman Khan Ahmedzai, Khan of Kalat, has strongly condemned the unlawful use of force by the Pakistani state against innocent Baloch in Gwadar during recent gatherings. He expressed outrage at the oppression faced by the Baloch people, stating that Balochistan was forcibly annexed by Pakistan through military means. He criticized the division of Baloch lands among four provinces of Pakistan, claiming that Baloch people have been subjected to injustices since then.
The Khan of Kalat questioned the silence of Baloch and Pashtun clerics who issue fatwas in favor of Pakistan but remain silent when atrocities are committed against innocent Baloch, Pashtun, and other oppressed ethnicities. He challenged them to address the injustices committed by the Punjabi establishment against these oppressed communities. Mir Suleman Khan Ahmedzai emphasized that the Baloch Unity Committee’s peaceful politics had been shaken by Pakistan’s actions, leading to widespread dismay among the Baloch.
