Ministry of Religious Affairs Announces Successful Hajj Applications, Additional Submissions Open on ‘First Come, First Served’ Basis
ISLAMABAD:The Ministry of Religious Affairs has declared 79,000 Hajj applications received to date as successful and has decided to continue accepting additional applications on a “first come, first served” basis for the remaining seats.
On Tuesday, a spokesperson for the Ministry provided updates, confirming that 79,000 applications have been successfully processed. Additionally, over 10,000 new applications have been submitted during the one-week extension. The ministry has decided to continue accepting applications for the remaining few thousand seats under the “first come, first served” policy. An official announcement will be made to stop accepting applications once the Hajj quota is full.
The spokesperson emphasized that pilgrims must obtain a computerized receipt from the relevant bank after submitting their application. The decision regarding the acceptance of applications will be based on the date and time recorded on the computerized receipt, following the “first come, first served” rule.
Additionally, the spokesperson stated that the Sponsorship Hajj Scheme will also continue under the same principle. Once the government’s Hajj quota is filled, the date for the second installment of Hajj dues will be announced. Pilgrims are advised to use the **Pak Hajj Mobile App** for the latest updates and instructions regarding the Hajj process.
