Met Office Forecasts Rainfall Across Pakistan Due to Monsoon System
Islamabad:The Meteorological Department has forecasted rainfall across Pakistan from today until Wednesday due to the monsoon system.
According to the Meteorological Department, a cloudburst occurred in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, resulting in flash floods in seasonal streams.
In Gujarat, accompanied by strong winds, rainfall caused low-lying areas to flood, with water accumulating on roads and streets.
The Meteorological Department predicts rainfall in various parts of the country from today until Wednesday due to the monsoon system. Rainfall is expected today in Kashmir, Islamabad, Punjab, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The department also stated that partial cloud cover will persist in Sanghar, Mirpur Khas, Umerkot, Badin, and other coastal areas, with chances of rain accompanied by thunderstorms at some locations. Karachi has also been indicated to have a possibility of rain starting from tomorrow.
