Quetta:Under the chairmanship of Secretary Energy Balochistan, Bashir Ahmed Bazai, a meeting was held with landowners, Action Committees, and officials from KESC and KESECO regarding the conversion of Balochistan’s agricultural tube wells to solar energy. The meeting included Chairman of the Landowner Action Committee Malik Nasir Ahmed Shahwani, General Secretary Haji Abdul Rahman Bazai, Kazim Khan Achakzai, Malik Haji Muhammad Yaqoob Shahwani, Haji Aziz Sarpara, Syed Sadiqullah Agha, Haq Nawaz Lango, Shafqat, Chief Executive Officer of KESC, and Operation Director Shaukat Jogezai among others.
In the meeting, the final framework for the conversion of agricultural tube wells to solar energy was approved. It was decided that the local chairman of the Landowner Action Committee, General Secretary, and Federal Representative will sign to verify all information provided for the project. After their signatures, the KESC officials will counter-sign for verification.
The meeting also included discussions on various other matters.
