Gwadar:On Thursday evening, a significant rally was organized by the Baloch Unity Committee under the leadership of Dr. Mah Rang Baloch on Padi Zar Marine Drive in Gwadar. The rally, which started from Syed Yadgaar Chowk, saw a large turnout of people, including many women. The event concluded with a gathering at the sit-in site.
During the gathering, Dr. Mah Rang Baloch addressed the crowd, announcing that a ceremonial “Swagandi Deewan” would be held at the sit-in site at 10 AM the following morning. After the ceremony, the ongoing sit-in in Gwadar would be concluded, and a convoy would proceed to Turbat. A major assembly is scheduled to take place in Turbat at 4 PM.
Dr. Baloch highlighted the resilience of the Baloch people, noting that despite significant challenges and state-imposed barriers, including violent actions and arrests, the historic Rajgi Machi event was successfully held. She emphasized that the Baloch people, regardless of where they reside—whether in Sistan, Dera Ghazi Khan, or elsewhere globally—share a unified identity that transcends borders.
The rally’s speakers, including Dr. Sabih Baloch and Sibghat Ullah Baloch, also addressed the audience, discussing the hardships endured by the people of Gwadar, including water shortages, house raids, violence, road blockades, and a curfew-like environment. Dr. Mah Rang Baloch reiterated that the Baloch community’s struggles and unity would be remembered in history as a testament to their national and patriotic duty.
