Islamabad:Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has appointed Hina Parvez Butt to a significant role. Butt will serve as Chairperson of the Punjab Women Protection Authority for a tenure of three years. The appointment of the Chairperson of the Punjab Women Protection Authority is made under the Punjab Women Protection Act 2017.
Chairperson Hina Parvez Butt took her oath of office today. The members of the Punjab Women Protection Authority include MPA Kanwal Parvez Chaudhry, MPA Shazia Rizwan, MPA Tashfeen Safdar, and MPA Neelam Jabbar Chaudhry.
The Secretary of Punjab Home, Inspector General of Punjab Police, Secretary of Social Welfare, Secretary of Women Development, and Secretary of Police Prosecution Department are also among the members.
