Man Deported from Saudi Arabia for Begging Arrested Again at Karachi Airport
KarachiضA man, who had previously been deported from Saudi Arabia for begging, was arrested at Karachi Airport while attempting to travel to Jeddah on a work visa.
Immigration authorities at Karachi Airport offloaded and arrested the passenger, *Alhando Panhore*, who had arrived on a foreign airline flight bound for Jeddah. During the immigration check, his name was found on the blacklist.
According to the records, Alhando Panhore had gone to Saudi Arabia in 2019 on an Umrah visa, where he became involved in begging. He was subsequently arrested by Saudi police for his involvement in the practice. After serving time in jail for his actions, he was deported to Pakistan in June 2023. Following his deportation, his name was added to the blacklist for his involvement in begging.
Upon being detained at Karachi Airport, Panhore revealed that he had paid 240,000 rupees to an agent named *Abdul Shakur* for a work visa and flight ticket to Saudi Arabia. The agent had reportedly advised him to engage in begging once he arrived in Saudi Arabia.
The passenger has now been handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Cell in Karachi for further legal action.
