Major Reduction Expected in Petrol and Diesel Prices in Pakistan

Islamabad: Following a continuous decline in crude oil prices in the international market, a significant decrease in petroleum product prices is expected in Pakistan.
According to sources, from April 16, 2025, the public may receive good news in the form of lower petrol and diesel prices for the next 15 days.
Oil industry sources estimate that the price of petrol could drop by up to Rs. 8.27 per liter, while diesel may see a reduction of Rs. 7.00 per liter.
Additionally, the price of kerosene oil is likely to decrease by Rs. 7.47, and light diesel oil may become cheaper by Rs. 7.21 per liter.
Currently, petrol is being sold at Rs. 254.63 per liter, and diesel is priced at Rs. 258.64 per liter in the country.
