Mahmood Khan Achakzai Urges Islamic Unity and Accountability for War Crimes During National Assembly Address

Quetta:Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Chairman of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party and a Member of the National Assembly, addressed the National Assembly, extending a warm welcome to the Imam of Masjid Nabawi and Saudi ambassador, acknowledging their presence as a significant gesture.

In his speech, Achakzai lauded Prince Salman for his efforts to bridge the gap between Saudi Arabia and Iran, noting the importance of unity among Islamic nations. He highlighted the common struggles faced by countries in the Muslim world and expressed deep concern over the lack of solidarity despite considerable resources and military strength.

Achakzai emphasized the need for collective action, stating, “We are economically weak despite our vast resources and military capabilities. We are yet to declare Israel as a war criminal. It has murdered hundreds of Palestinian mothers and children. The Islamic world must decisively label Israel as a war criminal and take this matter to the International Court.”

His address called for a unified stance among Muslim countries to address both internal and external challenges facing the Islamic world.
