Lucky Motor Corporation to Hike Prices of Kia Sportage Models Starting January 2025

Islamabad:In a recent announcement, Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) revealed that the prices of its popular SUV, the **Kia Sportage**, will increase by up to **PKR 2.5 lakh** starting from **January 1, 2025**. The company had previously reduced the prices of the Sportage by up to **PKR 3 lakh** back in March 2024, but this limited-time offer is now coming to an end.

LMC clarified in its statement that after the price hike, the following revised prices will apply:

– **Kia Sportage Alpha**: Previously priced at PKR 73 lakh, it will now be available for **PKR 75.5 lakh**.
– **Kia Sportage FWD**: The price will increase from PKR 77.4 lakh to **PKR 79.9 lakh**.
– **Kia Sportage AWD**: The cost will rise from PKR 84.7 lakh to **PKR 87.2 lakh**.
– **Kia Sportage Black Edition**: This model will be priced at **PKR 92.5 lakh**, up from its original price of PKR 90 lakh.

The company also provided an important note for customers: **any vehicle whose full payment is made by December 31, 2024**, will be delivered at the **old prices**. However, **new prices will apply to customers who book vehicles after January 1, 2025**.

Additionally, LMC clarified that the mentioned prices do not include **freight** and **insurance charges**, and customers will be required to pay any **new taxes or duties** imposed by the government at the time of delivery.

This price adjustment follows the global automotive industry’s response to inflationary pressures, exchange rate fluctuations, and increased manufacturing costs.
