LPG Prices Surge by 30 Rupees per Kilogram in Quetta Amid Cold Weather

Quetta:As the temperature drops in Quetta due to recent rains and snowfall, the demand for LPG has surged, leading to a price hike of up to 30 rupees per kilogram. The gas is now being sold at 320 rupees per kilogram.
With a shortage of natural gas in the city, residents have turned to LPG for heating and cooking. In response to the increased demand, LPG prices have been raised by 30 rupees per kilogram. However, some shopkeepers in Quetta are denying the price increase, claiming they are still selling LPG at 290 rupees per kilogram. In contrast, local residents are reporting the higher price and have expressed concerns over the steep rise.
Citizens are calling for the authorities to intervene and bring the LPG prices back to normal levels, citing the added financial burden during the harsh winter conditions.
