Lower Kurram: Another Suspect Arrested in Attack on DC Kurram Javed Allah Mehsud

Lower Kurram: One more suspect involved in the attack on Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kurram, Javed Allah Mehsud, has been arrested in the Lower Kurram area of Bagan.

According to police, out of the five nominated suspects in the case, three have now been apprehended. The authorities are continuing their investigation to arrest the remaining individuals involved in the attack.

Meanwhile, Javed Allah Mehsud, who was critically injured in the attack, has successfully undergone surgery at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Peshawar. Doctors performed an operation to fix the fractured thigh bone.

The attack took place on January 4, when unknown miscreants opened fire on DC Kurram Javed Allah Mehsud and six others in Bagan, Lower Kurram. Javed Mehsud was shot in the shoulder, abdomen, and leg.

Following the incident, a convoy carrying food and supplies to Kurram, which was scheduled to depart after three months, has been halted for the time being.
