Long Eid Holidays Announced for Educational Institutions

The Ministry of Federal Education has announced long holidays for educational institutions on the occasion of Eid ul-Fitr, and a notification has been issued in this regard.
According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Federal Education, the holidays will be from March 31 to April 4, and the new academic session will begin on April 7.
Meanwhile, the Punjab government has also issued a similar notification regarding the Eid holidays. According to the Punjab government’s notice, educational institutions will remain closed for three days from March 31 to April 2, on account of Eid ul-Fitr.
It is worth noting that the Pakistan Meteorological Department has confirmed that Eid ul-Fitr will be celebrated on March 31, with the moon of Shawwal being sighted on March 29 at 3:58 PM. A meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will take place on March 30, and the moon will be visible with an age of 27 hours, confirming the sighting of Shawwal’s moon. However, the final announcement will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
