Lahore Qalandars Appoint Russell Domingo as New Head Coach for PSL 10
Lahore Qalandars have announced the appointment of Russell Domingo as the new head coach for Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, following the unavailability of Darren Gough.
In an official statement, Lahore Qalandars expressed their pleasure in welcoming the renowned South African coach, Russell Domingo, to lead the team for the upcoming PSL season. He will replace Darren Gough, who regrettably had to withdraw due to personal reasons.
Russell Domingo is a highly experienced coach, having previously served as the head coach of the South African and Bangladesh national cricket teams. The announcement further highlighted Domingo’s reputation for strategic brilliance and his ability to nurture young talent. His coaching philosophy aligns perfectly with Lahore Qalandars’ vision of building a strong and competitive squad.
Speaking on his appointment, Russell Domingo said, “I am extremely excited to be a part of Lahore Qalandars for the 2025 PSL season. I look forward to starting as soon as possible, meeting the players and management, and beginning preparations for a fantastic season.”
Lahore Qalandars are set to begin their journey in PSL 10 on April 11, facing Islamabad United in a crucial match at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
