KP Information Adviser Hails Police and Public Efforts in Countering Terrorism
Peshawar:Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Adviser on Information, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, praised the bravery of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police, stating that they have been courageously combating terrorists. In the past three days, the police have successfully foiled multiple terrorist attacks.
Barrister Saif highlighted that in both Bannu and Lakki Marwat, the public joined forces with the police to repel terrorist assaults. He expressed the provincial government’s admiration for the valor of both the police and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He emphasized that the fight against terrorism requires a united front from both the public and the police, and stressed that the elimination of miscreants would not be possible without the cooperation of the public.
Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif also criticized the federal government, urging it to avoid political rhetoric and instead focus on providing support in the fight against terrorism, which he categorized as a national issue, not just a provincial one. He accused the federal government of being a silent spectator in the ongoing battle against terrorism, adding that it had withheld funds from the province, instead of offering assistance in the war on terror.
