Peshawar:Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has stated that former PTI Chairman Imran Khan is seeking an NRO (National Reconciliation Ordinance) from the government, but the government will not grant it.
Speaking to Geo News at the residence of PPP leader Bilal Sherpao in Swabi, where he was offering condolences for the death of Bilal Sherpao’s uncle, Governor Kundi emphasized that it is up to the courts to decide on Khan’s cases.
He also commented on the political dynamics, mentioning that Maulana Fazlur Rehman is facing his own challenges and noted that Asad Qaiser visits Fazlur Rehman frequently. Kundi criticized Rehman’s efforts to convert Jews to Islam, reflecting on the ongoing political tensions.
Regarding the motion of no-confidence, Governor Kundi confirmed that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will not support PTI in such matters, affirming that their alliance with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) remains strong.
