Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Imposes Ban on Rabbit Hunting

Peshawar:The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Wildlife Department has imposed a ban on rabbit hunting across the province. A notification regarding the ban has been issued by the department.

According to the notification, despite the ban, strict legal action will be taken against anyone found violating the hunting restrictions. Wildlife officials stated that no area in the province will be permitted for rabbit hunting. The decision has been made in light of the declining population of rabbits, and the authorities have taken this step to protect the species.

The move highlights the ongoing efforts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to conserve wildlife and ensure sustainable biodiversity in the region.
