Khyber Pakhtunkhwa:The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has formally written to the Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court requesting the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the events of May 9. This decision follows the provincial cabinet’s approval earlier for the establishment of such a commission to ensure transparent investigations into the incidents. Speaking to a news outlet today, Provincial Law Minister Aftab Alam confirmed the letter, emphasizing the need for a judicial commission chaired by a high court judge. The commission could be either single or multi-member, with its findings expected to guide future actions based on the truth uncovered.
