Khuwaja Saad Rafique Calls for Lifting Ban on Social Media Platform X

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has called for the removal of the ban on the social media platform “X” (formerly Twitter).

In a post on X, the PML-N leader pointed out that it has been a year since the ban was imposed, stating that everyone is using VPNs to access the platform, rendering the ban ineffective.

He emphasized that the ban has not served any meaningful purpose and urged for its removal. It is important to note that Pakistan has had a ban on the social media site for nearly a year now.
