In the midnight of Saturday,Balochistan’s district Punjgur gone under the siege of terrorists attack,
Seven people have been shot dead by unknown millitants, among which one got injured in the Muhallah Abdul Rehman of Khudaband area of district Punjgur.
Deceased personnel were daily wagers and used to work in the construction arena of district punjgur in the daytime,while in nights, they used to sleep close to a house in Muhallah Abdul Rehman.says Police
Punjgur is one of the hottest districts temprature wise in the Baloch belt of Balochistan,People sleep in the open yards or in open areas due to the harsh atmosphere and lack of facilities,Daily Qudrat’s independent sources confirm that these worker were also sleeping in the open fields,Construction workers were attacked and killed when they were sleeping,Police stated
According to Poice officals “Nine worker were residing in the mentioned location in which Seven were killed and one worker named as Muhammad Ramazan got injuries and another worker made possible survival by the absense as he wasn’t on Spot.
The seven departed workers are from South Punjab Multan and adjacent areas,Says SSP Police Fazil Shah Bukhari
Deadbodies have been shifted to government headquarters Hospital in Punjgur.
The departed souls were civilians and identified as Shafeeq,Faiz,Sajid,Khalid,Bilal,Iftikhar,and Salman,all were the residents of Punjab Province.
In last month more than fourthy civilans were killed in Balochistan at different attacks by millitants in which twenthy persons were killed by inspecting identity and ethnicity that belonged to Punjab.
Senior journalist and crime beat reporter Zainudin Ahmed reflected that there were severe security threats to the workers of Punjab, for which the Balochistan government increased the security, but the victims of this incident had No security.
According to the security observers, the Punjgur district is considered the heartline of banned terrorist outfits, which operates by targeting innocent and poor civilians, but until now, no reponsibility claims of the incident have been made by any millitant organization.
