Karachi: In a shooting incident over a parking dispute in Machhar Colony, two people were killed, and one was injured.
According to details, armed individuals opened fire in Machhar Colony within the Dock police jurisdiction, severely injuring three people. Two of the injured, identified as Laiq and an unnamed individual, succumbed to their injuries.
SSP Keamari Faizan Ali reported that the conflict arose between two groups over parking issues near the Kante area in Machhar Colony. Armed members of the Zaman Group targeted individuals from the Najib and Mujib groups, resulting in the shooting. The injured were rushed to the hospital, where two of them were declared dead upon arrival.
The police have inspected the crime scene and collected evidence. SHO Dock Nafis Rehman stated that the armed assailants fled the scene, but their identities have been determined. Police are conducting raids to apprehend the suspects and expect to make arrests soon.
