Karachi Traffic Accident Claims Another Life: 33 Dead in Heavy Vehicle Collisions This Year

A tragic traffic accident in Karachi has claimed another life, bringing the total number of deaths from heavy vehicle accidents in the city to 33 this year.
The incident occurred near Gul Bai, where a 40-year-old man, identified as Abdul Rahman, was killed after being run over by a water tanker. CCTV footage of the accident has also emerged, showing the primary cause of the incident. The video reveals that a bus stopped suddenly in the middle of the road to drop off passengers, causing a motorcycle rider behind it to slip and fall. A second motorcycle rider, attempting to avoid the fallen individual, ends up under the water tanker’s wheels.
Following the accident, the water tanker driver fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind, and the bus driver also drove off without stopping.
The police have seized the water tanker and are investigating the whereabouts of the fleeing drivers. Efforts are being made to capture the drivers responsible for the accident.
