Karachi to Islamabad PIA Flight Makes Emergency Landing Due to Technical Issue
Karachi:A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight traveling from Karachi to Islamabad was forced to make an emergency landing due to a technical malfunction. According to a PIA spokesperson, flight PK 300, which had taken off from Karachi, encountered a technical issue shortly after departure.
The problem involved the aircraft’s landing gear, which failed to deploy properly, leading to the decision to return to Karachi for an emergency landing.
Notably, PIA’s CEO, Khurram Mushtaq, was also aboard the flight. The spokesperson further stated that the aircraft returned to Karachi just 25 minutes after departure. The passengers were safely disembarked, and another aircraft will be arranged shortly to continue their journey to Islamabad.
