Karachi:the Sindh Police have released all activists of the Baloch Solidarity Committee (BSC), including the detained female leaders. Earlier, police had arrested four women, including senior BSC member Bank Fozia Baloch, in front of the Karachi Press Club just before a scheduled press conference.
Following the arrests, the Baloch Solidarity Committee issued a statement expressing concern over the lack of information provided about the detainees. The statement highlighted fears for their safety and urged the Baloch public to take to the streets and participate in protests. The BSC called on the community to send a clear message that the authorities’ repressive measures will not silence their demand for justice and rights.
