Karachi: Main Suspect in Attack on Female Assistant Commissioner Arrested

Karachi: The Quaidabad Police have apprehended the primary suspect in the attack on Assistant Commissioner Ibrahim Hyderi Malir, Dr. Saira Khan. The suspect, Muhammad Islam, son of Muhammad Umar, was taken into custody from Rehri Goth, Muzaffarabad Colony. Authorities recovered a weapon from his possession.
The incident occurred during a tree-planting event at the Hospital Chowrangi, Landhi Quaidabad. On Tuesday, the Quaidabad Police had registered a case against the suspect under various charges, including assault on the female assistant commissioner, damaging her vehicle, and causing a public disturbance. Five individuals were arrested in connection with the case, with the main suspect being apprehended the following day.
