Karachi Blast Injures 11, Including Women, Children, and Newborn Twins

Karachi:In Karachi’s area of Orangi Town, on November 10, an explosion caused by a gas cylinder bursting has resulted in injuries to 11 people, including women, children, and newborn twins.

According to police reports, the explosion occurred on the first floor of a residential building near Ghousia Chowk, causing the house’s wall to collapse. The blast resulted in injuries to individuals nearby due to the explosion of the cylinder, collapsing walls, and subsequent debris. Among the injured are 11 individuals, including two 25-day-old twin brothers, Hussain and Hasan.

Police sources indicate that four individuals were injured due to the collapsing wall, while seven were hurt from falling debris. All injured persons have been transported to Suleman Suri Hospital for treatment.

The injured have been identified as follows: 25-day-old twins Hasan and Hussain, 39-year-old Farhan, 33-year-old Rabia, 30-year-old Irfan, and Faizan. Additionally, 27-year-old Anam, 25-year-old Nida, 20-year-old Iqra, 7-year-old Abu Bakr, and 4-year-old Zara are also among the injured.

Following the explosion, the condition of the house has become unstable. Police have evacuated residents from the lower floors of the building as a precautionary measure.
