Karachi: Abducted Youth Murdered, Body Disposed of in Malir

Karachi: A shocking revelation has come to light regarding the abduction of a young man from Defence on January 6, as police have confirmed that the victim was murdered. DIG CIA, Muqaddas Haider, stated that the arrested suspect, Armaghan, confessed during interrogation to having killed the abducted man, Mustafa, and disposed of his body in the Malir area.

The victim’s car and mobile phone have been recovered, but his body has yet to be found. The court has sent the arrested suspect, Armaghan, on judicial remand to jail.

Earlier, during a raid by the CPLC and police in search of the abducted man at a bungalow in Defence Phase 5, significant revelations emerged. The raid led to a gunfight, resulting in two police officers, including a DSP, being injured. The situation was brought under control after four hours, and one of the suspects, who had opened fire, was arrested.

It was discovered that Armaghan Qureshi had rented the bungalow over a year ago and often moved around with 30 to 40 security guards. Police officials revealed that the victim had been threatened by the suspect before his abduction. Mustafa was abducted on January 6 from the Darakhshan area, and a case was registered at the Darakhshan police station.

Police authorities believe that the victim and the abductor were friends and both involved in drug trafficking. The victim disappeared after being called by Armaghan, with phone location data tracing the victim’s last known position near the suspect’s home.
